A medical corset or compression garment is of great importance after cosmetic surgery as it helps in:
1- Body sculpting: It helps the skin adhere to the muscles and prevents sagging.
2- Reducing swelling: It prevents fluid accumulation (seroma) and reduces bruising.
3- Supporting tissues: It stabilizes the new body shape and reduces pain during movement.

Duration of wear (schedule):
For three consecutive months. Phase 1 (first 4 weeks): Wear continuously for 24 hours a day (remove only when showering and during massage).

For reservations and communication

Phase Two: The duration can be reduced to 12 hours daily (during the daytime only or during the daytime) as instructed by the doctor.
This occurs after the lymphatic massage has completely finished, the lymph nodes have resumed normal function, and there is no more fluid retention.

When can it be removed completely?
Usually 8 to 10 weeks after the procedure, provided that:
The noticeable swelling has disappeared.
The skin has stabilized and the tissues are firm.

⚠️Quick tip: Ensure the corset fits snugly and is free of creases while wearing it, as any creases can leave a permanent mark on the skin during the recovery period. It is recommended to wear a foam undercap under the corset to prevent it from creating creases on the body.
