It is an advanced therapeutic technique known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Unlike traditional massage, which targets muscles, this technique works on the superficial layer of the skin where 70% of the lymphatic vessels are located.

For reservations and communication

The technique relies on circular, pumping, and upward movements in a carefully controlled rhythm that mimics the natural pulse of the lymphatic vessels.
The goal of this method is to stimulate lymph (a clear fluid that transports waste and toxins) and propel it toward the major lymph nodes in the armpits, groin, and navel, where it is filtered, returned to the bloodstream, and then expelled via the kidneys and urinary tract.

What is the difference between lymphatic drainage massage and Swedish or sports massage?

Lymphatic vessels are very thin and fragile, similar to capillaries. If strong pressure is applied (such as in deep tissue massage), these vessels constrict and close completely, preventing fluid drainage instead of stimulating it. Therefore, the pressure in manual lymphatic massage must be “as light as a touch,” requiring considerable skill and sensitivity from the therapist to control the degree of stretching applied to the skin to activate the lymphatic valves.
