Wearing time (schedule)
Phase 1 (first 4 weeks): Wear continuously for 24 hours a day (removed only when showering and during massage).
Phase 2: The duration can be reduced to 12 hours a day (during the daytime only or during the nighttime) as instructed by your doctor.
This phase begins after the lymphatic massage has been fully completed, the lymph nodes have resumed normal function, and fluid retention has ceased.
Typically, 8 to 10 weeks after the procedure, provided that: the noticeable swelling has subsided, and the skin has stabilized and the tissues are firm.
Quick tip: Ensure the compression garment fits snugly and is fold-free while wearing it, as any creases can leave a permanent mark on the skin during the recovery period. It is also recommended to wear a compression garment under the corset to prevent it from creating creases on the body.
